Ma2Re (Construction materials and products with low embodied energy) is a competitive industrial research and development project funded by the Piedmont Region within the subsidy program for the institutions related to innovation poles.

The project involves the “Bio-architecture and Hydrogen Pole” as well as the “New Materials Pole” and is connected to the project trajectory “Eco-efficiency of the construction process” and the development line “Eco-efficient construction chains and processes”.

The project is carried out by 6 partners, t.i. 1 small company, 2 medium-sized companies, 1 big company and 2 organizations; it started in July 2011 and will last for 30 months.

The project has a 575.273 EUR budget, including a contribution of 291.333,80 EUR allocated by the Piedmont Region.
